doesn't sound right that.
175 miles for 50 litres (11 gallons) thats 15 miles per gallon!!!
You've either got a very heavy right foot, or something is amis.
is your car running OK generally?

Funilly enough, I was asking about the Superchips Bluefin remap for the 1.6 Focus.
another user had it done, didn't notice much difference power wise, but the car drank fuel like a fish once remap had been installed lol
I think you're right, best check the remap!!

im guessing yours is the one thats on the GT28 and Vipec that Mark mentioned in convo with myself a little while back.
wasnt it 430bhp, or around that figure?

Mine is on gt29/30 well that's what the turbo receipt says? And autronic sm4 it made 438 before it went to mark and had new boost controller fitted and more boost then a mapp. I just thought with autronic it would of had closed loop of some sorts to give better economy lol how wrong was i haha

Id say its a bit over the top mate but for some reason in this weather most turbo cars are even worse on fuel than normal ..
I work that out to be a tad over 16 mpg if your figs are correct and your speedo is correct??
With 440 hp and this weather 20 mpg would be good so not a million miles of..
cheers danny

Even on medium length journeys, with the temps outside lately being sub -2 all the time even on a 4 or 5 mile journey the engine is nowhere near normal operating temp unless you leave the heater off.
so no wonder more fuel is used.

mine does around 250 miles on a full tank,
but thats country road driving and town. so on a run it should do 300 i think.
(standard car apart from dreamscience)

Thats about what mine did when it only had a Bluefin, as soon as the tubular manifold went on the MPG got considerably worse, once the hybrid was on it was dreadful. I'm lucky if i get near 200 miles from a tank.
