Hello,


So today me and my dad went to look at the XR4I i said about the other day.

Well we got there and saw it (no battery so never started it) had a look around and like i said the sills have been done but some rust under the car and a little on the bodywork.

It needs a respary as it has faded in some parts back to white, But it has been inside for 5 and a half years only to be put outside not long ago for extra space. (sorn for 6 years)

The seats need a bloody good clean and the water pump gasket needs doing but she has that just not fitted.

I also got told it had done 87k but the car showed 110k. I think she said she is the 3rd owner of the car.

She wanted £1000 for it and we offered her £700 and got it Did we get a bargain or not? And i say we got it i do mean my dad got it would of been nice to add to my collection lol













Any know anything about this car as well?

looks ok prob got more rust than wot you can see but nice project car and these car need saving so yep nice one

ive always liked these had a few in the 90s they was a quick car back then.
wouldnt mind another start a restro thread
id keep it standard exept wheels if it was mine.

For what i could see there is some but about the same as my saph had so not to much.

just a thought when you do the start up pull all the plugs and turn in over by hand first if all is good crank it lots to get the oil around the engine then plugs in and fire up

my mate brought one the other week for 450 quite clean well solid 1 owner i lost back bumper around my farm here it is

I used to think peppers were neat had em on me X3 but yep think yer right bit naff now

Pepperpots? are they the ones on the one i saw today? Dont think they look that bad but then again there not great.
