So the idea of putting up shelves today didn't seem too bad after i'd put the main priority on them....

My 1:18 collection of 3 Minichamps 3dr Sierra Cosworths, 3 Autoart 3dr Sierra Cosworths (the nuts when it comes to models!), 2 Sunstar mk3 RS1600i, 1 Sunstar ROTHMANS Escort MK2 and the Road version of the Capri RS3100 are now all looking quality!

And for those that are interested, Minichamps are launching the Escort Cosworth in a 1:18 scale in black very soon, as the last time they did it they were known as UT models i believe?
Also the MK2 RS1800 and RS2000 are in the pipe line.

I only wish someone would make the Saff's and a genuine MK1 RS Turbo!

And yer, as for the real thing, i'm still dreamin'....

Agree here, i have the 3 door in white in the auto art model and the quality is spot on and the detail is unreal even down to the seats being flocked. One of the best cossie models ive ever seen.

Could anyone tell me where I get the model cars that you can modify? Im looking for a small version of my anglia but i dont have a clue where to start looking?

autoart are nice, but if you want the touring car ones then get biante as the detail on them takes the piss out of the minichamp or auto art touring car versions

 

Modifying models seems to be a bit of an art form, not aware of any specific models made from factory with intention of modification, if that makes sense?!
Ebay would probably be best. This any good?

The Minichamp RS1800 & RS2000 have been on pre-order for about 4 years.A S1 Rs turbo is in the pipe-line but untill then you have to build your own.

The S1 wasn't my handywork,i bought it from a fellow model collector.He made an outstanding job of it so all credit to him

Who's bringing out the factory S1, you mentioned one is in the pipeline?

 

SunStar is the maker,but as with most they take a very long time to release them.
