Angry insurance quotes

got the 3dr insured with adrian flux, agreed value of 17k, fully comp for £265 per year. i am 33 with company vehicle use etc, personal car, so this was quite good............................................

however........................................... ...............

bought a 90 spec xr3i from a member on here, (mint car), went to adrian flux (who said they would offer a good discount for having 2 policies) for a quote.

£745!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!! (just for the 3i):s hocked:

when i asked, "why so high"?, the lady replied "we'll mr homer, it is a very powerful car being an xr3i"...................

unbelievable!!! anyone know of a good xr3i insurer??

You can't use the same no claims discount on two different policies remember, so the XR3i one will be zero years no claims in essence, so the full premium price. It might still be quite a good discount compared to the full premium for a policy on the XR3i.

if it going to cost you that much look into a traders policy, you can use your no claims on it

Correct, try a classic insurer, you may have a limited mileage but it s not anything silly like 1000 miles, more like 6000 iirc.the cars 20years old now so you'll have no trouble.

As stated,no claims build up is zero but that's irrelevant to you really.

Get on the blower butt!!!
