What's the reason for a ban? They maybe just have a good sense of a trouble maker

 

Its run by some friends of mine...so i thought id join so i introduced myself...Then had a chat with a few of them nothing attall like here..Very friendly people then i get banned for nothing and the reason is trouble causing..WTF...they wana grow up.

You weren't banned. It was an error, as stated in the PM I sent you shortly after, when I realised what happened. You were accidentally included in the banning of another member from another forum who's members constantly log onto specjap, to take back what they find to their own forum.

As I know you personally, I would have thought a better way to deal with it would have been to ask me directly.


I'm actually gobsmacked that you've done this. You came on and were chatty and I thought were a positive addition to the forum and then to find this.

I apologised to you for the mistake in the PM I sent you, but there was absolutely no need for this. I can see it must have been a shock, but it happened to someone else too and he just messaged me and said 'rach, what's the crack?'. why couldn't you have done that?

You got banned for stirring trouble deliberately after standing for 3 hours slagging off SS and all 'your mates' then going back and telling a totally different story.

you then spent months reading up on specjap in the early hours, so you could report back on how the forum looked and what we were talking about.
Bit different to Rsmat, who never got banned intentionally in the first place.

I also note that you only have one post. Not joined up in order to have a dig at me have you dave? Naaah, because that would just be sad.

 

Because when you banned me it never gave me no direction or options to ask why id been banned!!..I came on to specjap as "ME" no one else...then i go to log on and im banned...Rach the only time ive logged on apart from my house is my moms...so really should be no confusion in IP adresses...TBH ive been sat thinking for the last 2 days what id really done and kept coming to the same conclusion that id done fuckall wrong..

so i will apologise for my actions as i was clearly wrong if what your saying is right...im gobsmacked that you have my number withing reach.. you could have contacted me and asked me before banning me.

but I didn't know I'd banned you until Laura said 'did you know rsmat tried to get on'. I don't think your ip was the issue, the person that I'd banned might have used different Ip's, not sure at this point why it happened as it banned pete too and he's been on there since the start, that's when i took the guys ban off to make sure no one else got caught in cross fire.

you hadn't done anything wrong, I was pleased to see ya we get enough numpties on, without banning the friendly ones.

No, I bought a domain name, not a website. It was amongst a load of others I bought which fit purpose at the time as I was in discussion with SS forum owner (you know, the one that was bullied out of his own forum) over the best way forward, to start something decent for subaru's.

Nobody has mentioned any of you on there. We wanted to avoid what happened on SS. I think you would have been told if they had, as I know there are at least 4 people on our forum who don't post and go back to your forum with what they've seen.

You didn't just say you were banned, you said 'that's a good way to run a forum, NOT', which is why I responded to you. Had you merely mentioned you were banned, I would have just explained the reasons to you. Which I think I did, in my pm to you.
