How much did Martin Johnson ? I think thats the guy pay for some of the btcc Sierras he owns ? the Texaco livery one that was for sale a while back was 65k iirc
I know its not going to be as mint as yours, or atleast I wouldn't expect it to be as race cars never are but that would be a good investment in my eyes as if your going to buy a car and leave it parked up its seems a little pointless if its just going to depreciate.
Its worth what someone wants to pay for it I guess

Yes mate, im currently near london working away from home (somerset) and at the moment specifically am writing an article about 1600 vauxhall engines while tabbing back and forth to chat to you guys, I only work 4 days a week, but do all my hours in those 4 days for both my jobs generally which is a bit intensive but then gives me a 3 day weekend to myself for building my cars and doing trackdays and seeing the mrs etc.
I do about 50-60 hours a week including both jobs and travelling time etc, fairly long but not the end of the world.
And I thought I do long hours!

i think thats just the initial 'online' impression, or at least thats what i felt. but as said, i changed my opinion, the more i read your posts, and realised your not arrogant, your just very intelligent, and maybe people mistake your intelligence, for arrogance ?
to be honest chipster, do you really care what people on 'tinternet' think about you fella ?. i probably seem like an annoying cunt on 'tinternet', and in the 'real world', in all honesty, i can be, but ive met loads of people off here in person, and get on with them all, and made some very good freinds, so i cant be that bad

I actually find the pschology of how people massively overreact to stuff online quite interesting, not just to me, to people like boschman back in the day etc as well, its amazing how seriously some people take it all, but then TV is no different I guess, I dont even need to watch the X factor, I only have to log into facebook and I can see all about it from people's status updates etc as if it actually matters to them

If j had enough money id buy it and rag the fuck out of it because thats what it was intended for!!!
At the moment it may as well be a fucking painting because all anyone does to it at the moment is look at it..
I love it and think its awesome and if was rich would deffo buy it but i bet id have to do things to it to make it go round the track quickly as tbf its not done that yet so who knows??

Get it bought Danny , I would love to see it being driven how it should , just not by me as i wouldnt be able to see where i was going as the tears in my eyes listerning to the stone chips would make me crash

So I'd stick with a female of any variety over it!

bit like ac cobras, D type Jags and some Ferraris, there are more in existance now than left the factories I was told by a genuine cobra owner that there are 3 around the world all with the same chassis number
I guess in reality there were more like 600 plus RS500s if you count the race cars, which the RSOC dont officially recognise for some wierd reason.

Very intresting ! Stuart whyte that used to race with Andy gallacher , Steve scott etc has a black one as well he got it from a trader years ago used the inlet etc for his race car & put a standard inlet on it not sure what happened with the car im sure he might still have it the engine was out it last i heard.
