Choice, brand spanker Evo X 300 or an 2nd hand 360 at same price?

Car will be modified anyway, so the lacking part of the 300 doesn't matter.

I'm thinking the gearboxes are different, anything else?

Also best engine mods to do, without ripping the thing apart and spending mega bucks on a mental build.

A nice 450 would be ideal.

 

Go for the 300 and mod it, Theres lots of do's and dont that companies say but I would drop a set of rods and pistons in it at 450hp.

Mark, what is the most you could get on standard rods and pistons? Is 6 speed box as strong as the 5 speeder?

Matt, as my mate is not mechanically minded I would rather he got the 360 and just mapped it. But the lions share of the warrenty will be gone on it, and that is quite important to him (he WILL break it )

 

No dan, I'd rather buy something else for the money. But it has the have warrenty and hes a bit gay about certain cars.

ie he wont buy a 996 turbo.

And for 50k he would rather have a TT-RS rather than a new skyline
