Private plate idea help
I'm fancying a private plate for my cossie when its done, i understand that you cannot put a newer year plate than what your car is ? Eg I couldn't use a g plate on my f place cossie ?
So my cossie is a 88 f plate, and I want something like Gibbs or Gibbi which my old man has, initials is JG and I really can't come up with much, any ideas ? Don't have ridiculous money to spend btw, found a j11mbo but 13k is a touch too much
Jim

Something like 89 JG.... be cheaper than that 13k plate
89 for year of car and JG for your initals. Keep an eye on the DVLA auctions because gems like these can be had for 3k

Save your money and spend it on the car!
I know someone with a private plate, C** UMS, so looks like "cums", don't think he realised that when he got it

I feel embarrassed on your behalf at having to explain but...
Plates started in the form
ABC 123A
You don't get U, Q, O or I.
Then when they got to ABC 123Y they turned it to A123 ABC etc.
