i've currently got a wire running to the back of the ps3 from the sky router, so can i put another switcher thingy onto the this wire and then have it supplying both the ps3 and the ksy box?

Dojj, Anytime+ should be enabled on your TB box already. Anytime+ is also available on HD boxes and has already been released on some models.

That switch will do the job but it's a bit pricey eh? I bought a cheap eBay one for around a tenner after hearing they all do the same job - a bit like HDMI cables. Sky also offer a wireless set up for £60.

Mind you also need to have Sky Broadband Unlimited to enable Anytime+.
