hi guys iv got mk6 5door the one in my sig im looking at doing the rs200 back axel conversion but need a bit more info ie how much will it cost is it beter to use old or new parts also do i have to change break lines ect a step by step would be great if any of you have done one mabey a few pics of you conversion thanks for you help

 

Simples mate
I done the conversion on my old scort
Got the beam of ebay for Ł100. Cleaned and painted it
Fitted new Discs and pads (has hand brake pads inside the discs)
New handbrake cable.
You will need to buy an rs2k 2wd Handbrake Cable
Might as well fit new discs and pads,shoes while its off
Then a simple job of just bolting it up
BUT, what you need to remember is the RS2K sits slightly lower than your car at the rear so you will have to adjust the front suspension to suit or you will find she will be squating

Also worth noting is that once you do the conversion you will have a Handbrake that actually works !!
