Here's some I drained out the cossie last week

Weird that .. ATF normally goes right down.

Teck would put used Tranny oil on the Haul-Roads to stop them freezing.

Well it aint Hydroscopic ..

Maybe water mixed with it ...

Never seen oil mush like that just wax up.

hot oil condensates so if its old oil and u have got it hot over the years it will be the water mixed with the oil that has frozen that or you have been getting water in it some how

Well it's the first time i've changed it in 7 years of ownership so probably has water mixed in with it.

Defo has a LOT of water in it, freezing point is between -45C and -65C, dexron 2 like most use in the ps is -45, when "frozen" it just goes super solid like treacle.
