Anyone else had problem with Couriers this week?
HDNL failed to pick up 3 parcels to send them the other day and eventually picked them up 2 days late.
now they said 2 of my parcels are in depots as the vans couldnt get around due to weather. anyone else waiting on parcel to be sent or delivered.
i wouldnt mind but both parcels are in london area and didnt think it was that badly hit the snow? or am i wrong

I've been temping for a few days for a HDNL rival, and it's a right ARSE trying to get to some places. So all depends on what it's like round your way snow/ice wise.
Got all my drops done though.
And if you're not paying for a premium service, you'll probably be put down the list.

this really boils my piss!!!!
i work for hdnl and we try as hard as possible to get the parcels out but with 6 inches plus of snow wtf to people expect us to do!! one little slip on ice can cost thousands of pounds in damaged vans and replacement parcels so come on give us some slack,
we had our proper downpour last night and we did turn into work this morning but rightly so we didn't go out

are you for real mate? im a self employed courier and we try our hardest to get to places but if you have not noticed the white stuff called snow up and down the country causing chaos, your just another one who thinks the courier only has your parcels on his van and should be at your door 1st and only when your in
i cover stranraer from carlisle and just to let you know im short of 29 parcels from other depots up and down the country who cant get there trunks to birmingham and then onto the delivery hubs, so be patient mate you will get your parcels just cut us some slack this time of the year

My courier isnt collecting from me due to the weather
I have explained this to everyone who has ordered parts and everyone is fine with it and understands that the couriers cant work in these conditions
They like everyone else are losing money every day so im sure they will get back to work as soon as they feel its safe

i fookin wish my boss was like all the other courier drivers bosses were still expected to do 30+ drops a day and im doing nearly 200 mile still a day, he has no respect for our safety at all just as long as the branch hits target each day.
