hi to all . ive got a 1.8 zetec in to my mk4 ive put the mk7 rad in but not happy with the way it fits any one got any better ideas on wich rad would fit better ie off a standard car thanks

There is no Mk7 so not sure how you managed that one

Seriously a stock Mk4 rad should be quite up to the job at hand

i had a mk4 rad in mine when i put a 1.8 zetec in my xr3i worked perfectly fine

There's no such thing as a MK7 escort..it's a MK6..but as said above MK4 rads fine..

well there are people who believe in the MK7 escort ever thought google could be wrong..it's not perfect.. but Ford only made upto a MK6 escort..find out from ford..they never made a MK7 escort..

I would love to have the money to buy a mk4 escort and put a zetec in it. I bet there a fun little car.

just been sortin the cvh rad out . n got the mk 6 one bk out . it was done with the mk 6 one because the car was a 1.3 so tha rad was scrap n didnt have a cvh rad to hand when the engine was changed over . aloso i was looking on a page showing how to sort the heater gadge out on the clocks . dose any one know how to do it using the 1.3 loom with 2 wires for the stat and where it gose to ? thanks .

with the temp gauge wire

use your original wire, which will be a brown/white trace

connect this up to one side of the temp sender in engine, the other wire goes to any earth point

or just put a cvh water temp sensor in it
