That's all good and well.

But here we dont get extreme cold that often. And when we do, most main routes will be cleared and will be bare tarmac/asphalt.

So any tyres in use, must be true multi-use tyres. Wet, dry, snow and ice.

Studded tyres while they would be fantastic in the ice and snow, would be useless on bare tarmac.

Thats where the problem lies here. It's never always at one extreme of weather.

Just ordered a couple of cheapy snow tyres of camskill. Seems like they are remoulds. Should do the wee van rightly.
