HELP!!!!
Hi All,
Still got the loud screeching noise on my ST3, its been into Evans Halshaw and theyve had it for a day and a half and they said it 'sounds like' its a gasket in the exhaust manifold??
They now are saying that diagnostics arent covered under that the 80k miles guarantee I have?? and it will cost me £80 + vat PER HOUR labour and the job will take 3-4 hours just to diagnose the problem! then the cost of any parts on top. worst case senerio it could cost me £2050 in total!
Baring in mind ive only owned the car since early April and its a October 2007 57 reg. only just 3 yrs old.
Am I being petty here or do I have the right to challenge this?

Sounds like your problem mate....why not buy parts yourself and get somewhere else to do it if they wont cover it?
