Well i'm off to see the boys at Enhanced Performance tomorrow and i feel like a kid on christmas eve!
The cars taken over a year to get ready due to work commitments but i'm finaly getting it sortted, i just hope that everything i've done is ok and Luke is comfortable mapping my build.
not really looking forward to 5.30am but it has to be done!
let you know how i get on tomorrow night fingers crossed all goes well!

Size wise? Restrictor is 86mm OD 70mm internal but power wise not to sure been advised should do 500 comfortabley and torque should be up there but I've noticed that on idle the t4 ticks over better than my t34.48 don't know it's internals maybe roller?
We will see tomo

Not after mega bhp hoping restrictor will keep air flow speed up along with standard ex cam pressures giving better torque!??
Hoping for 450bhp 420ft lbs and comming in strong low down.
That's my understanding of thing so many people speculate different outcomes for different reasons suppose I'll wind out tomorrow!

Have you measured that restrictor? Is 70mm the diametre at the front? It looks narrower than 70mm inside. 34, 36 and 38mm seem to be common.
Why restrict airflow into your turbo? These things are imposed by racing regs to limit horsepower, something you don't want to do. It makes the mapping more sensitive as well.

If its the t4 i sold a while back its a proper left handed shaft ex rallycross one that i had on another engine and the reason its being used on a road car is because it gives the response of a 400 hp t34 car with over 450/450 and is awesome!!no lag at all..
The turbo is designed to restrict a monster rx engine so not really restricting something like this spec...its a 45mm restrictor by the way..
cheers danny

Was selling him a new ECU the only way to cure these "gremlins" and didn't TOTD get slated massively for doing similar with Omex ECU's?

What a day! had some real fun down at EP and just wanted to say thanks to luke and danny for their persistance.
bit gutted i didn't get to drive her home but all the more excited to see what the out come of the LINK ecu will be.
Couldn't believe the torque that she was producing on mid boost so with link running should be seeing even better results
Note to me: New diff New box

The loom is 20 years old and frankly shit!!for the price of a new loom wasted spark etc etc and mapping then your half way there anyway in money terms to how much we are doing a whole new much improved ecu that will out perform the 20 year old one so once the options were wieghed up its a no brainer really...
