i wouldnt be surprised if its serious. loads of religiuos types flatly refuse to accept scientific facts..just look at th goons who believe adam and eve over evolution

1) If the world was flat, why does he accept that there is longitude and latitude? Does he therefore accept that if he sails to the extent of the latitude scale he will appear at the other end on a flat earth? How would that happen?
2) Gravity increases with mass. The proportionate differential of a piece of paper to the balloon as compared to the mass of a human to the earth are leagues apart.
3) The curvature of the earth is relativley gradual as compared to the ability of the human eye to percieve the curvature over the distance that the human eye can see. The glasses they no doubt wear will have a curvature perhaps impersceptible to their eyes.
I would like to bet that along with the belief structure there is also a requirement for subscription to something. Perhaps that explains the TM written after every True Christian.

There are many reasons why condoms do not prevent pregnancy:

Condoms have small pores allowing the man's seed to pass trough.

You can disprove this nonsense by simply jumping up as high as you can. Really, it's that simple. What happens when you jump? You come straight down to where you were. But, if the Earth were indeed spinning at such a fast speed, wouldn't you land hundreds of feet away?
