Default Broadband dongles

I need a quick lesson on this.
After Saturday I'll be without my Virgin/cable package. I'll be losing my 20mg broadband.

I would like something that you can do month to month in the UK that just plugs into my laptop so I can get the internet. I'm not into downloading much, just browsing really and checking emails.

Whats' good out there at the moment or what are people using that's cheap and reliable?

The misses got a tmobile dongle, plug in and go, cost 40 pound but its unlimted, if you happened to go over the fair usage they dont charge extra, they just restrict the speed from 4pm till midnight(so they told me), had no problems with speed, browsing is fast and plays youtube no problem with no stuttering. Living in an area with good net speed helps

What you are referring to is 3G dongles, same as a 3G mobile connection. Circa Ł5 per month or as said pay as you go, or a data usage plan. Alternativly you could always use your mobile phone for a connection on your pc this may be cheaper especially if you get X number or minutes/megabytes per month you don't use, I used to get free unlimited Internet on my phone but this has now changed due to the new EU data usage rules.

Iv'e had experience with a customers laptop with Orange 3G and it's not bad but you really only want it if you are doing like what you have said and you'd be best off viewing the mobile version of this site as it will take a while to load with a 3G connection.

PS on Iphone it's called "Internet Tethering" to share connection with PC and you have to set it up on O2 website.
