If your doing this to power the dash, remember you'l still need the original cossie lugs if you keep webber management. After market management, fine, then just feed the PIP signal into the ecu in the right pin.

Yep fully aware of keeping the original lugs but just need to check if i need to keep them cos ive changed to pectel management....
So i presume the webber management will need the 4 lungs trigger ring on the crank pully to run the engine , but swapping to an aftermarket ecu such as pectel will allow me to use a 36-1 trigger ring. which i can also use as a pick up for the Mk1 focus dash.
as long as the pectel takes the 36-1 signal then thats fine. just check! when i do my cambelt im fitting a 36-1 wheel on mine but thats additional to the standard lugs so one sensor runs engine and the additional one runs the dash.
