2 mk3 fiesta questions need help
JUST TO GET EVERY1 UP TO SPEED ON PROBLEMS:
PROBLEM 1
on the g/fs lx when your turning the wheel it will go to a serton point and then its gets all stiff and really hard to turn. what couuld be cousing this and how do i fix it??
PROBLEM 2
i know fiesta rear wiper motors are prown to stop working and this has happened on my g/fs lx. removed the motor tested it with the valt meter to find that the motor had burnt out, replaced it with a speare to find that didn't work. took it out the car, cheacked with volt meter to find that it was working. pluged it back in but used an earth from the rear lights and it worked fine, put it back on the boot and it stoped working again have tyred giving the boot a better earth but still not working.
any ideas this is really doing my head in??
UPDATED PROBLEMS:
i have changed the steering uj and it seems alot better, the only problem now is when u trun the wheel u need to compensate loads for where u want the car to go, then suddenly your oversteering to much and u have to quickly pull the wheel back. what can be cousing this and how do i fix it??
second problem was the rear wiper, i found when u bypassed the pins with wire direct to the boot it worked fine, i replace the pins with a brand new set from ford but it still don't work, i have looked all through the loom to see if theres any nicks in the looms which could be desterbing the flow but nothing, any other sugestions??
need help guys asap really pissing me off, cheers

on your wiper motor problem is that the wiper motor earths out though the tail gate hinge pins. What happens is that they go rust and don't earth properly. So what you have to do is spray the pins with WD40 and knock the pins backwards and forwards to clean the rust off. It should work after that.

Robin mate this is what you do :-
1. Put your tools away.
2. Goto fridge and get a cold beer
3. Drink cold beer
4. Repeat steps 2 & 3 until you feel you are ready for step 5.
5. Phone your local friendly garage man and get them to repair it.
6. Repeat steps 2 & 3.
