Hi

i've taken my civic type r into our local garage as there was a knocking noise on the front.
The garage have told me that the top mounts have gone, so would need to be replaced.
I assumed this wasnt a big job, the garage have said they will try and source some second hand suspension including the top mounts.

Is it possible to get new top mounts seperately or do i have to buy new struts complete, i just thought it was going to be a fairly cheap fix but buying second hand shocks isnt going to be as cheap as i presumed.

should be able to change the top mounts easy enough i would have thought.
