I still have my track from the 70's/80's all boxed up in my parents loft, got allsorts including the rare 3 piece hump back bridge and the clockwork operated start bridge
Got loads of cars including a mk1 mex

I do like how he's made his own track with the copper tape etc... means you can pretty much have any track layout you can dream of, which is something I used to get pissed at when I used mine, dreaming up an amazing track and then finding you were short of pieces.

I have got a few boxes of of track and a couple of the escort cosworth box sets and at least a dosen different livery cossies, got some out for me son to play with this year but we couldnt be arsed with it lol

 

brilliant, i would love something like this set up in my loft.

my mind is now working overtime lol

 

i gave a load away recently, inclding 2 mark 1 escort cars. i got fed p of carting it about everytime i move house and never used it. the trouble with old track is the metal strips go rusty if not stored totally dry. and old cars have so little grip compared to modern magnetic ones.

Love the way he has made the track with the apex's ect into the corners, so that you can only overtake on the straights ect ect....very clever.....

 

Awesome!!! I still collect the odd bit of Scalextric. Last 2 cars I got were the Mk1 Escort RS1600 and a Lotus Cortina.
