Default wheeler dealers subaru edition

on the rollers at power engineering

but i think that mike brewer gets his pants pulled on the cost of the bits he's bought
new clutch - price not disclosed
wheels and brakes £850 (plus he part chopped the old rims in)
exhaust - £180 (yeah right, stainless steel 3 inch system for that price? i'll have 6 please )
chip - £450
vynal bits - £300
etc
he's paid out £3250 for the car and then they've got the cheek to list the prices as only being £2k

not to mention edd reckoned there was about £500 worth of labour on the clutch change and they said there was £405 worth of performance bits bolted to it and then they sold it for £5400

i know the shows about doing stuff and not exactly all about their profits, but i think things are starting to get a bit silly now

not to mention mike looks like he's wearing a tent

not on freeview, thing is people say mike brewer is a cunt but how many of these programmes had he made, some for channel 4 aswell

plus theres wheeler dealers, auto trader, wheeler dealers on the road, all made by his production company he may be a cunt but hes a clever one though,oh yeah and the frontline thing he does too (although I am sure thats not his company that makes the last series)

The price on those parts was a joke, I recently sold a full Brembo front set-up the same as that for just under £400 and those wheels go for £250

they get repeated at odd times across the discovery network, but yes, you need to have a sky/virgin/(freeview?) package

let me have a look through the thing to see when it's next on

I think its fucking hilarious! Total shite, but I still love to watch it.

Mike Brewer knows so little it's funny! And Edd has zero taste in modifying a car

But still, it's an absolute hoot.

The Subaru one was the first i've seen of this new series. Mike's still a prick aint he. Got to agree with the comments on the stripes, they looked fucking pants and i'd have removed them before any of my mates saw the car.

so that means the air filter would have cost him the rest of his £405 budget for performance mods then

It made 245bhp,whic IMO is wank.

They did say the clutch price dojj,£350 iirc and the vinyl was £100.

Fair play,it all seems pretty staged but if it's true they've done alright this series, made £1800 on the Volvo,£2500 on the bond bug, only about £500 on the landy and £200 on the scoob, which is poor.

Makes me laugh a bit sometimes, that's for sure.never a mention of Mot costs, petrol, tax, tyres etc etc.

At least their paintjobs are getting a bit more sensible now, only £900 for the landy!!!

So how has the £350 for the clutch money suddenly been lost in the prices listed

And on thr listed prices they said the yvnal was £300 yet edd said it was a bargain at £100

thank fuck for sky plus as I was rewinding it to make sure I was right on the figures
