anyone know this guy, from st helens?

i was on the phone to paul north yorks the other day enquiring about a 2wd diff as i got sold 4x4 stuff as 2wd...

anyway i mentioned to paul that i had 2 4x4 diffs i needed to sell to buy the 2wd stuff off him and he phone me back about a customer that was desperate for a 4x4 diff and paul had non available.

anyway i spoke to the guy on the phone a few times and said that i could get one in the post on sat via interlink, so would be with him tuesday...

now, he could only pay by credit card, couldnt do paypal, and couldnt do a bank transfer...

so paul kindly agreed to take the credit card payment, and therefore i would be in credit for when i sold the other diff and was in a position to buy the 2wd stuff off him.

so Dave Chadwick, no relation of JC btw lol had all day sat and today to pay paul, but so far hasnt.

ive a good mind to go back to interlink and stop them sending, as so far ill be out of pocket for the postal costs, and it may be just me, but i have been fleeced before and ok its only '£160', but its £160 i just cannot afford to loose at the mo.

what would you lot do? never met the guy, nor know who the feck he is so my trust is zero at present.

maybe my fault for sending it without payment, but i had a 2 hour window yesterday to get it to interlink before they closed and he assured me he would pay....

It's always a but of a gamble both ways when your buying/selling stuff,after all you could have carved him up as well which may explain why he preferred to pay via credit card?

I'm not saying you would,but it happens and heat have wanted to check it works ok hence the 28 day refund on a credit card he may get?

Always pays to be patient in these things,I bought an airfilter off rsdene on hweeks couple of weeks back and I honestly just kept running out of time to send him the cash,totally my fault!!

He was very understanding but it could have got nasty simply through my lack of time to walk 50yds down the road to post it.

Even when I did,I bunged an extra £5 in for the hassle and guess what?the card I posted the cash in was too big for the 1st class stamp and got retained in the post office!!!
