There's plenty of cheap car checks about, depends what you're after really. I know the RAC used to do a basic check for a fiver, or these are even cheaper... https://www.mycarcheck.com/

I'm after one that checks everything, don't want a basic one its abit pointless really.

if you want a completely thorough check that is insured and covers everyhting then i'm afarind you have to pay for the priviledge....around £25
