Default 2wd Front Discs - which ones to go for

I need front discs for my cos. Standard size and preferrably grooved and or vented.

What are the best ones to go for? As it seems every year I have to change my discs.

Previously had Greenstuff which were shit, then I put on the Tarox 40 Groove and these were better but again only lasted a year.

Now that time has come again, what do i go for?

Thanks in advance

I like 3G brakes myself, but I've never owned a Cosworth.

Tarox discs are usually pukka.

But have you considered just buying standard ones. Ideally made by someone like AP etc... As these are really not that bad for the money.....

Mate i doubt very much you will notice any difference between any of them to be honest! Tarox as has been suggested are good but probably no better than originals although they do look better

Lockheed ones at my local factors are 80 quid trade so you may want to pay another 20 quid for some slightly more sporty looking grooved ones

I use Maxtorq discs from rally design.

As Spadge says, doubt you'll notice much difference, it's pad choice that matters most

£50 for group n (standard)
£74 for drilled
£78 for drilled & grooved

(all +vat)

Well im gonna get the Ferodo pads when my ones run low as they are fine I think, but will obviously check when the discs are being done.

I was thinking of sticking to grooved as they look better
