Default alternatives to classic addition covers

as above really need a decent cover to help protect my saff over the winter but just cant afford the classic additions one anybody got any other suggestions that are a little cheaper? been told i can use my cheap cover ive got now then cover it with a big bit of black plastic pond liner material and itl be 100% dryt but not too sure about that lol

i wouldn't cover it with a cheap cover and pond liner, its more important for a cover to be breathable than waterproof as if moisture can't escape it will sit in and on your car.

any ideas on a cover then mate? cars having some paint work done on wednesday so want to try keep it tip top as i dont think i'll be using it over winter if its snowing /icy ect.
