Bloomin iphones!
Everyone has one now and unfortunately i feel the need to buy one at last. Wife getting one was last straw
I'd really prefer a white one. I think apple are taking the piss here and bang they will be available for the xmas boom.
I know the apple shop in town has stock...

Read reviews, get the phone that does what you want, not just because everyone buys one. If the iPhone is that one...well, at least you made an informed choice.

I've got one and its the worst phone I've ever had (& I got my first mobile in 1988 (!)
The phone signal on 02 is utterly crap.
The battery wont last a day if you use it much on line.
Most of the time it wont pick up 3G and so you cant get on the web.
I;ve broken 2 of them just from falling off the seat in the car.
Its useless for sending text messages unless you stop everything you are doing and concentrate on the screen typing.
i-phone is the worst bit of technology i've ever bought what a waste of money, in the end I had to keep my old orange phone running along side it so I can make calls anywhere, rather than having to lean out a window or climb a hill.
iphone = nice and shinny piece of crap.

The phone signal on 02 is utterly crap. On all networks with the iphone, mrs can't get a signal at all at work now with her iphone.

Most of the time it wont pick up 3G and so you cant get on the web. True, my nokia often quickly flicks between 3G and GPRS (or whatever its called), but when the iphone looses 3G, it won't get it again for about half an hour!

Had my Iphone 4 about a month now and would not be without one now! Never had one before and never really new what all the fuss was about until I starting looking when my contract was up. Great bits of kit, easy to use and does just about everything I want. Only thing is if your playing games/music or browsing the net alot then the battery does go quick, I charge it most nights.

I've had my 4 for 3 months now and it's excellent. I'm on it in Florida just now and would Be lost without it. And got it on contract for Ł29.

Mate of mine is a review nut. He'd been looking at phones for ages, he wanted an iPhone. he read all the reviews and ended up buying an HTC Desire running Android. He loves the thing, it does what he wants it do to.
I have an unlocked Nexus One and its perfect for my needs and it runs Flash (up your SJ, I'll decide what I want to run, not you!)

got bored of iphone... got a HTC Desire. Can honestly say its a better PHONE. I remember on a few occasions not being able to answer a call as the slider at the bottom to answer sometimes locked up... Iphones are great gadgets, not phones.
Get a HTC Desire... you wont be dissapointed

Bought my iphone (2g) in March 2008 and its still going strong now.
Had an upgrade earlier this year got a Nokia N97 and ended up selling it and sticking with the iphone.
Now almost three years old and still does everything a new phone can.

glad to see i am not the only iphone hater in he world
i had a htc touch hd when the iphone 3 was launched, and was not a great phone, but not an apple.
now have a htc hd2, and boy what a machine, even with my chubby digits i can type as fast as a keyboard, good camera nice to hold (prefere iphone 3g styling to squarer 4g) has built in GPS so with a Ł25 app become a proper sat nav and got the phone for free on a Ł25 contract
and i can change batterys and memory cards too

The iPhone thing is funny really, I've never known so many people get wound up over a phone! The amount of people I've had telling me 'they're shit' over the years is comical. And none of them had tried one.
It's not perfect but it's better than the rest IMO. If there was something better I'd get it (just because I love my gadgets).
I wish Sony had carried on with the p900 series as a modern one of them (I'm sure) would be what I'd have now.
If I try and use another phone now I actually find it frustrating, like everything is over complicated. The iPhone is very intuitive to use.
Anyone who's having signal problems with the 3GS should get it swapped. Mine is fine but my mrs' one is crappy for signal so there is problem ones out there. Apple are pretty good at replacing them too so worth booking in to an apple store and getting it sorted.

Had mine since whenever it was they were launched and its fantastic. Was SO close to buying a 3GS a couple of months previously because I was totally pissed off with my old Samsung (was a great phone, just started to be unreliable..) at the time... I'd have boiled out if I had got a 3GS and then seen the 4, did you not buy a 3GS though Chop?
Cheers,
Grant

Ive had a 3gs previous and now got an iphone 4. Amazing bit of kit that im always using. I spend more time browsing the net now than i do on my laptop.
Apple are a bunch of tossers for the amount they restrict on the iphone but once jailbroke they are truly the best phone on the market.
Battery life is far better on the iphone 4 and regarding reception i dont get any issues.
To be honest if i broke it i would go straight out and buy another
