Sorry I mean slaughter in general, i'm not vegetarian btw. I know its deemed cruel etc just now by a minority, but I mean in years to come EVERYONE will (peobably) be shocked by farming animals and slaughtering them.....

Iam just thinking here after reading the negative comments on Hal Hal meat,how many of you have had an Indian Meal ??? as they only use this type of meat ????

As far as I'm aware 'most' Indians are hindu, which is fuck all to do with halal meat (that's Muslim). The indian resturants near me are all run but Indians and are hindu, I believe.

Lets remove religion from the equation.
Lets say an animal processing plant existed that slaughtered animals in this way simply because it were perhaps "cheaper", you could count in milliseconds how long it would take for it to be shut down and the owners sent to prison.
As its linked with religion, its untouchable by our nanny state.

I think this should not be allowed, if people want to eat halal meat then it should be imported, although this would remove the income from our country it would make a good statement that britain should be respected for its beliefs, parctices and attitude to animals. Ive worked in 3 different slaugterhouses in my time and the care taken to make it as easy as poss for the animal it actually pretty suprising. Ive not seen any vids of the halal method but going on the above comments i get the picture. Its upsetting to say the least.
As an analagy its similar to us going to the emirates and building a brewery, they would not stand for that, I just wish our government would for once say NO, we dont do things that way here old pal, do it our way or take a holiday etc etc

unles you were talking about indians in the context of indian resteraunts (where you would be right as hindu establishments are vegitarian and so wouldn't have meat of any kind, let alone halal 
) i took it to mean indians as in people from india, in which case, there are about 1.4 billion hindu folks who you've just labeled as sikh

there was an article in the paper a few weeks ago saying that 90% of the meat we buy from restaurants, service stations and the such is "halal"
According to these places they say they feel there is no need to cite this on their menus. And you know why?
Halal meat is cheaper-ask any butcher. Thats why they DONT advertise it or tell us on the menus,

the reason they do it is because, as far as schools are concerned, themore kids that have school meals the more the school gets towards the cost of doing them, so when you have a school like where my mrs works where 90% of the kids are muslim, labelling your meat "halal" means that you have potentially 90% of your school eating school meals as opposed to not putting it on the menu and losing potentially 90% of the money they'd generate
and you think hey ain't brainwashed eejits? they were complaining the other year about joining in with the divali celebrations because "what would allah say to us when we go to heaven about taking part in a hindu celebration"?
ffs, they are like 5 and 6 years old and if they already have this mentality about intergrating what chance to the rest of them have? when eid was on there were about 7 kids maximum in each clas of normally 30 kids because so many took the day off, which is fair enough, but to not intergrate to such an extent from the age of 5, it's simple, eat what's put in front of you knowing that it's not halal, or fuck off and pay for your own food you little cunts, oh, but they can't because they've got 10 brothers and sisters and the council pay for everyone of them to eat school meals

Ryan for thousands of years animals have been bred for food. Fucking hell, without them, they human race wouldn't be here today I doubt! Stunning them, then slaughtering them, produces the least pain, due to the animals being in a vegtable like state.
