best way to unbend a water hose?
got a water hose for my fiesta rs turbo for the oil cooler from ford but it needs to be straightened a little, whats the best way to do this? hot water?

Try fastening it in the position you want fixed to say a bit of metal place it in the oven on about 150-200 for about 20 mins and then dump it in cold water.It may work but there again it may not.I dont think it will ruin it.I just remember is thats how we used to make curly cables like you would see on say a police bike,the one that used to go to the riders helmet.We used to start with a straight peice of cable,wrap it around a metal bar,cook in the oven and then dump in cold water.Wrap it the opposite way and that was what gave it its stretchyness but retain its shape.Its the same thing in principal.Hot water wont work otherwise everytime you got your car hot your hoses would go deformed

A formed hose will not straighten. They are reinforced in their formed position so will always return back to their original shape Best you can hope for is to position it in such a way as to make it fit, or get a custom silicon hose made.
