If it wasn't for the bluray player I'd of sold my PS3 years ago. I got bored of it years ago.

 

i got so bored waiting i recently got an xbox and forza its grate but i still want gt5 love the ps3 for everything else it can do tho

 

I have 2 xboxes, an elite and a slim, never had any issues with any. I did own a ps3 but binned it after a year of waiting for gt5.

I did the right thing and got a bluray player.

 

Disappointed that the PS3 can't play music or control your iPod over the top whilst playing a game like Xbox can, know its a feature loads find useful. Also not being able to install games to HDD is another bad one. Surprised really as even I thought it was the better one as a 'media machine'. Its pretty much only the Blu-ray player really.

I like the PS3 menus and system as an alternative though but some of it is very basic compared to Xbox, for example, peoples profiles or messaging layout. Xbox has that more pro feel about it, whilst PS3 seems more underground or how a Linux pc is when freshly installed, lots of options but very bare bones looking. Both good though all the same.

Just need GT5 now.

 

That because all ps3 games have to install to play. xbox runs off the disc or you can install to improve load times etc.
PS3 has to install the games to play them, that why when you put a game in it will install/download latest patch etc. I'm pretty sure fifa 11 is the first ps3 game that doesnt install on the hdd.

 

Really? Oh my. Might be why then as I only have Fifa 11 and MOH so far.
