Default Turbo Oil Filters.. best ones?? pics anyone?

Need to get a new turbo oil feed hose and a inline filter for 4x4 / esc cos
head where the oil line plumbs in to the left side of the head (just under turbo)

whats the best filter to get? and does anyone have any pics of their set up?

ive heard bailey ones snap ???

Convert it to 2wd feed.... Burton Power do a kit with a pukka filter inc

the £95 one from Burtons... doesnt look too bad


dont really like the blue filter though

What up with the Bailey one then?? I spent ages looking around for these as I wanted Silver or Black. The Bailey one is very good and easy to clean. What more do you need??

the oil supply comes from the left side of the block/head so the hose wont be that long

Just to the right of the engine mounting. Cant take anymore just yet as the car is masked up for painting.

To run a filter you have to convert to 2wd oil feed as there isn't enough room on the 4wd feed pipe

aah, ok. a couple of questions though

how do you block off the original feed? an ally screw bung?

does the kit come with a t peice to take the feed from the other side of the block? i take it it olumbs in to where the oil pressure switch is??

ok, i got IT to remove the GAY HOM filter and i can now view it


Mike, does that come with everything i need? ie: to block off the original oil feed and to tap in to the new one?

Dave, we custom built my hoses, which we can do for you, providing you supply me with the lengths you require etc.

i had one that screwed into the top of the turbo - fookin thing snapped on the motorway - luckily i was at my exit and near home - car nearly went up in smoke

Now I got an inline one - the bog fook off one like Porkie has on his engine - got it from Ponster 70 quid at central RS day last yr.
