My experience would say idle control valve but then it depends on the car, engine etc

wont start when hot and wont start when cold
Not sure this is what you meant to type? If so then:

- No fuel
- Dead battery
- Failed starter solenoid
- Failed starter motor
- No compression
- Knackered spark plugs
- Knackered HT leads
- Knackered coil pack or dizzy
- Dead ECU
- Faulty immobiliser
- Dead fuel pump
- Faulty ICV
- Seized engine
- Dead injectors
- Or pretty much anything else you could think of that would go wrong in an engine.

I'd suggest it has a hot start problem, and very possibly a cold start problem too.

Water temp sensor on the ECU side. Not the gauge sensor it will be blue or green with 2 wires coming off it.
