Default need help from rc pros

hey everyone.trying to help a mate out by trying to find a drive belt for his rc car but we have no idea what version it is lol.it has a kyosho stamp on the chassis.thats all we know.any help would be greatly appreciated.

Go into something like a hobbystores, or other rc shop, they seem very clued up on most if not all makes, could also try looking at vids on youtube putting in Kyosho might find one the same with more exact details in the text of the vid, if you get stuck though pm me and I'll ask the local hobbystores as pass it everyday.

From the looks of things its got a mechanical speed controller and large heatsink for the resistor. Not seen a setup like that since my first RC car almost 20 years ago. Don't think you will find any shop that will stock parts for that anymore so I suggest you and your friend don't waste your time searching.

However it may be considered vintage by some (unlikely as it is not made by Tamiya) so worth trying to punt it on Ebay.com (not uk site). Failing that its time for the bin.

that looks like an early basic Kyosho pureten model to me....you may struggle to find parts for it
