I agree nothing that stands out. I see an rs200 mentioned it was functional but goodlooking get real nothing goes together.
If pushed a 3 door in white is the best Ford managed.

This one

As for cars with Ford badges on them I still love the look of the S1 RST; there's just something about the (square) lines on it I still adore. The EsCos was a great looking car, although it's too "busy" by todays standards, it still looks great. As some else said though, does it look good or does it look cool? I'd probably have to lean to cool, as it's really a car that enthusiasts think looks good, whereas the general motoring public wouldn't say so...

Same can be said for the 3 door/RS500 - in a retro, enthusiast, world, it's awesome looking - but it's not a good looking car.

Never really a fan of Sapph's (no offence!), the only one I ever really drooled over was Tony's EsCos arched blue one. Also never been a fan of mk1 or 2 Escorts, although a few forest-arched rally-slag looking ones are cool - but not really "good" looking.

Never liked the mk1 Focus; although I do quite like the mk2. Same with the Mondeo; boring as shit, but the new one looks nice; sleek and streamlined. Still fairly "uneventful" though...

ford are functional and design cars to be profitable, none are pieces of art and beautiful, though with that in mind, when someone spends hours and often many ŁŁŁŁ on a car making it their own, im thinking of several cars, you have your own im sure, they are truly awesome and i would regard as beautiful.
certain 3 doors i can think of especially have such a level of detail put into them i can admire them for hours! to me, those cars, and no specific model are the best looking.

Yes perhaps your 'subjective' opinion is true to your own feelings towards Ford's offerings, but I'm sure that Ford themselves don't spend millions on employing huge design teams just to offer functional bland fodder to the masses. As for the other marques who produce limited production specialised vehicles, I'm also confident in saying that they too are mostly in it for the profit margin as they are an operational business enterprise.
I'm also certain that hundreds of thousands of dedicated classic and vintage Ford owners don't restore and pour hundreds of hours and thousands of pounds on their vehicles just for nostalgic reasons as many owners weren't even born when their choice vehicles were produced.
If you attend Ford rallies and are involved in conversation with other owners, words such as 'beautiful, gorgeous, lovely, awesome and other meaningful remarks are banded around by enthusiastic owners and the public alike.
I could cite many exciting and beautiful Ford models, but it would be futile as evidently, you have already made up your mind.

.
i never said they make bland fodder, the cars have to appeal. But their cars are styled according to the rest of the range and to meet crash standards, aerodynamic targets, practicality regarding interior space vs exterior size, visibility and so on. Ford fiestas for example, as much as you believe they spent millions on design teams to make that a beautiful car, they spent millions on design teams to make it match the modern standards it had to adhere and make it as generic and un offensive as possible. I personally dont think it can touch for example, ferrari f40 for presence, even though that car was just built for profit in your opinion.

And as for the last point you made... you agree with me then?

When i was living in Hamburg, Germany, there was a black Mondeo Titanium X estate (the same shape) lowered on focus st 19" replicas and it was truely awesome looking!!

Ford GT.

Happen to think my 2008 Mondy Titanium estate is a fine looking car from the right angle, shit from others, but overall it's up there with an Audi estate for looks IMO.

Some really looks good. No doubt, Ford is one of the best automaker all over the world. They never stop creating incredible model of cars. In fact, Ford has reached an unusual manufacturing milestone. Particularly, the Ford Focus, which is built in one of its Asian plants, and one of the 350 millionth car manufactured over their 109 years here.

What modern car does though? Cars are nothing like classics that were pretty much hand built with chrome etc, you have to ask yourself why? The reason is it's cheaper, and you wouldn't be able to do it today for the cost. I doubt a lot of modern cars last long. To me nowadays one manufacture just copies another's shape, for example look at the modern Fiesta and Corsa, bear any resemblance?

Ford fiestas for example, as much as you believe they spent millions on design teams to make that a beautiful car, they spent millions on design teams to make it match the modern standards it had to adhere and make it as generic and un offensive as possible. I personally dont think it can touch for example, ferrari f40 for presence, even though that car was just built for profit in your opinion.

And as for the last point you made... you agree with me then?[/QUOTE]

I don't believe that Ford intended the Fiesta to be a beautiful car. Where on earth did you get that nonsense from as I certainly didn't infer that. In fact, the Fiesta, whilst not being an unattractive vehicle, is one model targeted at the masses with maximum sales envisaged and realised and was designed with utility mainly in mind. I'm certainly not dismissing them as great vehicles and I'm sure that they have many devotees, but I wouldn't consider them beautiful.

I'm glad for the information you imparted that Ferrari now only produce cars for a zero profit margin. I think it might be a good idea for you to send them some sheet aluminium and other necessary materials for them to build you a beautiful non Ford motor vehicle. I'm sure that they will use their most exclusive stylists and dedicated engineers as they like nothing more than NOT earning huge sums of money.

On the last comment you made, my response would naturally be - don't delude yourself.
