Did the rover V8 ever come with fuel injection?

If yes, then what in?

yes i think the fuel injected ones went up to 3.9L aswell

It went to 4.6L, not counting any special "iceberg" versions of 5.2L that were injected.
Injection used in rangey, SD1(vitesse) some say the sd1 v8S was injected but it defo wasn't that was on std su carbs, land rovers also injected some.

range rover and vitesse, p6 and mgb were su carbs only afaik.

I sold a 3.9 v8 inj disco for Ł150 earlier this year,went like fuck......til u hit a corner,like a conservatory on wheels!!!

rover sd1, range rover and discovery had injection lumps. the RR had 3.5, 3.9, 4.0 (updated 3.9), 4.2 and 4.6 capacities. the disco i believe had the 3.5, 3.9 and 4.0.

later RR with the 4.2 and 4.6 were also available with DIS injection systems too

There was also a V8 sherpa to special order mainly to plod and ambulance services with EFI.

didnt tvr also use them EFI?
our local scrappy is full of old rangerovers etc with efi v8s
