how do you transfer songs off vinyl onto your pc into mp3 format ???

any info would be very much appricated

Right to get your choons onto your PC you need to still run the dex thru the mixer to get a Line-Level output,
this then can be plugged into a Line-Level input on the soundcard of your PC. Then you need some software to compress and save the audio into what ever compression algorithm you choose ie MP3, WAV etc.

I use www.avsmedia.com/AudioUtilities and find it very good and you can really play around with the sound in one of the programs that come with the suite. Its like your own Production Suite, you can add delays, filters and other little digital effects and its only $20!
