Default anybody done anything with a vivaro engine

had a vivaro over here last night that i bought as non runner guy was quoted 1200 to fix as diesel pump had gone apparently had a quick look and noticed a wire going to a plug on the pump was a bit corroded and split cut it and rejoined it and it started first turn was going to stop start solenoid how garage didnt see it when inspecting pump is behond me, only problem is that the engine previosly had a cam belt failure and the guy who rebuilt the head set the tappets wrong and it sounds a like an old transit,

anybody got any info or auto data on setting the tappets properly?

cheers
