where do i get Low temp fan switch's for a FRST from? a lad i know paul dolman has adjustable settings on his aswell.... just wasnt sure where u got them?
they cut in at 82 degree's. and again helps cooling. sat in traffic for ages last thing you want is to overheat.
but the thermostat's availiable anywhere are an 88 and 92 degree stat's iirc. So it wouldnt do anything anyway! You 100% you dont mean the 82 degree c THERMOSTAT that msd do?
yea i just couldnt remember msd. been a long long day lol. i was thinking autospecialists burton.... lol
Burton's might do them too mate not sure, but 100% msd do tbh i swapped the 92 to the 88 and it did make a difference. But frst's and traffic do not mix well
EXACTLY, i just did the headgasket in mine just in case. and it still was getting HOT. off the road atm anyway but its a handy cheap bonus to have the low temp THERMOSTAT lol.
about the adjustable one though... i think its lowest setting is like 50 degrees....
wouldnt know mate, first i've heard of 1. tbh i'm not 100% sure at what temp the fan would kick in? Unless you'd fuck the temp switch off and do it manualy which is shit. And it would take longer to get upto temp to give it some. I'd try the 82 first
