Trying To Tax My Car Online

I am trying to tax my mk4 fiesta online but its saying i am unable to as the MOT is not on the MOT data base

Its MOT'd unitl the 25th September and insured until the 30th September

Is it because the car will be out of MOT at the start of the new tax

Yep. You cant tax a car without MOT & there isnt a valid MOT to cover the date you want it taxed.
