cheap race series
My friend is starting a new one make race series for next year, cars are
BRABUS SMART CARS.
cost works out at 7 grand per year i'm led to believe
have a read on the site and give me your feed back

what do you all think? The series will be back up to the britcar race series, think it would be quite good

Good luck with it but.......there is already way too many poorly supported race series ,i have recently read about 2 more one marque new series for next year ,there is just not enough racing drivers around ,have you seen the Chevron GR8 series ,this year they had 2 races per weekend for 40 minutes each with 8 cars .........sad but true

Too many posts.. I need a life!!
tell him to stop wasting his time and money.
we already have far too many race series in the uk and a lot of them have grids that are too small.
and smart cars are utter crap in almost every respect, I've had loads of them and its probably the last thing I'd recommend someone using on a track.
Or is this just a wind-up?

nope not a wind up, they are tuned to 130bhp full suspension built and designed by leda, backing from brabus and dunlop.
he's to far in to it now to back out lol
also all of the other series are 20 plus grand per year, this series is 7 grand per year

Costs £18k for the car! Be better off starting with examples are few years old rather than having to buy brand new.
Can run in MX5 Cup with the new Mk3s for that!
