Mocal oil cooler sandwich plate
I bought a s/h one of above, said to be for a cossie, but when fitted the centre bit when screwed fully in to hold it on, is too long by about 5mm or so, is there supposed to be a thick washer/spacer bit under the through bolt hex, ie between the sandwich plate and the "nut" of the through bolt ?
I don't think this was a cossie one unless there is something missing, esp as the supplied centre part was totally different having male threads each end, which were wrong size anyway.
I'm thinking just knock up a spacer bit, or can you buy the correct centre bolt bit seperate does anyone know.
Thanks

Yes defo right way round, orange seal on the mocal towards the block, leaving the flat section for the filter seal outermost, would still be same thickness though either way around, I'm going to trim a bit off the centre bolt, or make a spacer, got a lathe so might as well save some money buying one.
thanks
