The films out today, anyone excited to see it? I'm interested to see what tamer hassan is like playing the role of Pat Tate, I spoke to Bernard o' Mahoney before and he told me that rise of the footsoldier wasn't the real deal, the whole Turk thing is made up and a few other things that was in the film. Should be decent imo.

Certainly want to see it but no matter how made up some of 'Rise of the Foot Soldier' is, it's still a great film so this new one will have a lot to live up to.

looking forward to seeing this one, all gangster "true story" movies are full of bullshit partly because the movie-makers sex them up and change stuff around, legal wrangles, and mostly because the "gangsters" who provided the facts are full of shit and chinese whispers - to the point that they dont really know what went on themselves.

that doesnt bother me though, gangland films are always worth a watch.

Tamar Hassan is awesome, he was class in "The Business"

think all these films are just getting boring now ,when films like football factory came out it opened up a can of worms ,as west ham/millwall supporters didnt like it all being about chelsea so films like green st came out which were pants as who would believe the hobbit from lord of the rings was a tough guy, rise of the footsoldier and cas were watchable ,but danny dyer and tamer hassan have milked it for too long and are way out of touch and better suited in a guy ritchie movie

being a londoner I love all the banter and chat in the films as at least I can understand it, but nearly all the recent ones have just lacked any valid storyline and if it were not for dyer or hassan being in them no one one would watch them which is a real shame

Mate, rise of the footsoldier was a true story, appart from a few scenes, ive read all the books and its pretty close, so its storyline has good meaning IMO, but i do realise you cant make these films forever as there is only soo many ways you can tell the same story, ill just have to watch it and see

Looking forward to seein this.Theres no Carlton Leach in it though which i thought there would be as he was a close friend, yet Bernard o mahoneys is played in it. Tammar isnt any where near as big as Pat Tate though, but a good actor and should be a class film, still think the rise of the footsoldier will take some beating mind.

imho green street no matter how cringeworthy depicts it more real life and natural than football factory which was shit. I take it the business 2 wont float your boat then

Not at all the business 2 was worth a watch ,But Green st was crap big time (would you want the hobbit in your gang )I was into football in a big way back in the 80s visiting away grounds more than my home ground and cars and stuff was way on the back burner,I was never a wanna be gangster but I saw all that went on being a neighbour of jason mariner back then I ended up going to quite a few games with him over the years and some of the films rang true about the outside ground activity, but so many were just that FILMS ,Football factory was a better watch than green street with more funny quips even if some of the acting was piss poor and a chelsea headhunter role was given to a hammer (dyer),I will take a look at the new film out but after seeing so many of this type of film in recent years they simply lack the watch-ability factor, Bit like top gear being a better show than 5th gear even though 5th gear is more factual,I rest my case

lets hope bonded by blood lives up to this hype and is not a big letdown

Will you all please look at the cast listing for this film

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1624391/fullcredits#cast

The film Is so embarrassing you have to SEE IT

Mr dyers films have been piss poor for moons

Basement cityrats pimp borstalboy the list goes on

He did his best work in human traffic

I loved the foot soldier film

BONDED BY BLOOD may be better...

It's made by the director not by the cast hopefully

danny dire was in adulthood, playing the same character he plays in ALL his films, stubbly faced larger lout type who runs about with a pack of goons but would shit himself if he was on his own

Will have to check this out, read some of the books and enjoyed footsoldier, that will take some beating as it was a very easy film to watch IMO with factual parts, much better than the earlier Essex boys with Sean Bean. Thought the guy who played Tony Tucker was awesome, laughed loads at some of his parts.

Don't think its about him being a tough guy, its more about someone not usually acquainted with that lifestyle get mixed up in the wrong kind of thing, which can happen to anyone.

In that film funded by Rio and Ashley Cole, Tamer Hassan was very poor, crap acting and the same kind of character. Him and Dyer have been good in some earlier films but once you've seen a few you've seen them all.
