any mechs on here done a timing chain on shogun 2.8td?

believe they are a bit of a horrible job-reading many stories about being difficult to time up correctly.

got a noisy chain on one and am going to have to do it-or get it done!

i thought the engines had a longitudinal configuration; meaning the belt is at the front? never done one so cant really comment on how difficult they are.......this post isnt much use really, so i'll shut up
