What cars for next 3-4 years realistically ?

Redumbdancy
I currently have a 2005 Mazda 6 diesel for daily duties which I intend to run into the ground, and hopefully help me save some money over the next 4-6 years whilst I get myself onto the property ladder.
I've just sorn'd my Golf Anniversary and put it into storage until I buy my own place with a garage. I'm very attached to the Golf at the moment and think I'd really regret it if I sold it - having known several cossie owners who prefer the Golfs over them.
I'd love to do the whole M3, Evo, 911 thing but realistically I can see me getting an S2 RST/FRS whilst saving for my dream Escos - that'll be in 4 years time I'd hope. I guess there's plenty of time for me to buy all the cars I've always wanted after I sort out my own house and savings - thats definitely more important for me now.

Nothing for the next 18 months or so, if the Subaru sells then I might buy a wee project to fart around with while I'm unable to transport myself anywhere. Actually been thinking about another Series 2 RS Turbo to clean up and work away on, if it happens, then it'll be something old skool that I get.
I really quite fancy a truck of some sort to take the dogs out in, lug mountain bikes with and use for daily duties, a Hilux or Rodeo Denver would do nicely.
The more sporty type of cars which I'm interested in are; MK2 FRS, E39 M5, E46 M3 CS, Hawkeye STi Spec C, Evo 9GT and 997 C2S. Whether I have the folding to buy (and run) any of those is a completely different question... because I'm trying to factor in a house purchase at some point as well, which will sting the bank balance slightly.
Cheers,
Grant

Hopefully going to buy an Audi s2 estate in the near future, although my mate has a 1970's c10 chevy pickup for sale that could prove a distraction... Will keep hold of my xr3i and s2 project and I'd like to build a Saph Cosworth to my ideal spec for my 25th birthday. God knows what distractions I'll have in the mean time though.

Well,if I get out to Canada it'll be American muscle all the way,Pontiac trans am,smokey and the bandit style,6.6 litre and yes,it will have the gold eagle on the bonnet!!it'll be a nail, but I'll restore it up nice on my days off, where have we all said that before!!!
Staying in blighty,it'll be a total nail for work or use the bike, probably keep the merc for her/towing and get the Cossie out to enjoy it,it's being painted over the next couple of weeks, then all the re commissioning stuff, tax and ticket and way to go!!!
