Angry Mondeo missfire can anyone help.

My Mondeo Zetec 2.0 1999 runs great on acceleration,on motorway, ticks over ok and starts first time every time. The problem is when I am 'under acceleration'(cruising) the car stutters as if it is struggling.Accelerate again and it is ok.Slow down again to cruise and it stutters.I have changed the coil pack and it has had a full service, but still exactly the same.Any ideas anyone?

Would be worth cleaning the maf, then pulling the 3 amp violet KAM fuse for a minute to reset ecu into learning mode.
