Lovely brakes, shame they look about as efficient as a standard setup, in fact probably less so!

no matter how far you gone, it has only cleaned off a small portion of the rust, so ballin is correct, either you have un even discs or pads

car looks superb though

Indeed, wasnt putting it down, but my mrs only does it as a hobby and she gets results that good on a regular basis.

And even more dramatic in some cases, look at the difference she made on my corsa bonnet:

Obviously it was only possible for her to make that much difference as the paint was so bad to start with of course, and im sure this detailer in question would have done just as well.

A glaze will generally hide most of the swirls if u want to do it by hand, but will not correct the paint it self.. for that u will need to machine polish with a suitable compound.

Yeah my mrs used a machine polisher on the bonnet above to restore the colour and totally remove all the swirls.

Takes forever by hand!

Here's a photo of the first attempt I ever made with my G220. I put the pics in the detailing section last year:

As I say, I'm not a pro but it's so easy to learn if you spend the money and get good stuff! I learned from the forums.

I have some swirls in my paint, but the most offensive thing is the hollograms left in it by a misguided bit of mopping by the company that sold me the car. they can only be seen in direct sunlight, but I would like to see them gone!

Any suggestions?

JJ
