parts for cvh and zvh stuff has come along way now
10 yrs ago there was no pistons realy out there or decent rods
on the engines i have built i wud never use standard rods or pistons ever again
there that cheap Ł600 for a set of rods is nothing at all you cud get a bomb proof engine together for Ł1500 very cheap compared to a cozzy

15K+ Super Poster!!
That was a night i wont be forgettin in a hurry.... It was on a a std chip too.
Mike was bootin about in it for about a week before it went. I thew on a spare boost gauge one eve at his place, and we headed towards mine on the motorway, me holding gauge in hand. Told him to boot it at about 2k in 5th. Gauge swung round to 1.8bar so we backed off straight away....But it was too late, as all u could here was bits of engine bouncing off the underneath, steam pouring from the bonnet vents, and smoke from the back....
Was basically dettin its tits off, which will take out a rod in seconds. I ran 22psi on my old engine no problem.
