Default HELP!!!

My xr3i has a knocking noise from the engine when coasting or when your not on the accelerater but fine when braking or with your foot down!

I think its the driveshafts as both have a little bit of play in them, will it be okay to drive to Ford Fair and back 250 miles??

if its a worn joint then you may get away with it for a while. i've had a vibration for 6months + that turned out to be nackered drive shafts and Sandy off "The Garage" had a nackered nocking drive shaft for ages. when he eventually took it appart the tripod bearings all fell apart

just drive it jently
