just to let you know, price isnt fixed yet, but certinaly wont be much more if at all, got to see what prices i can get all the bits at etc etc. Well i can get everything its just 1 item im having trouble with.
oh and craig looks like i may be making a few full ECU looms aswell

yeah need to source a supply of ECU plugs and & 7 port male, all the others are a doodle to get hold of.
will knock one up brom so you can see the finished artical, kev's seen my wiring first hand you can ask him about the quality.

1 ecu never worked still waiting for replancemt from nov

my mate has been trying to contact simon for months and months nothing
so he has payed Ł500 for a ecu that dont even work
one ecu promised back in nov aswell the lad has now sold p8 now has no car
i lad am building a engine with got a fezza turbo zetec had a ecu off simon not threw me but that dont work either now cuz am building the engine am getting the hassel over it
i had a demo ecu running on my car for customers
all the things that are on the ecu that make it good dont even work
how can i demonstrate a ecu that dont even have a rev counter trigger
he said he would sort everything after the xmas hols
thats a month ago still no fone call or a returned fone call to my mate who has bort somthing that dont even work and its my fault i sold it to him at no extra cost i feel realy bad about it but what can i do

no the ecu when they work are very good simon is a very clever bloke BUT the after sales service is none egsistant full stop
i dont know what his problem is i tryed ringin 4 times he just turns his fone off
my mate wants it sorting or he going take legal actoin as the ecu will not run his car he tryed to contact him by fone and left messages
i also have informed him that if its not sorted my mate will take legal actoin but as normal he dont reply
i got it in my send folder if he trys to say i did not send it
all i want is my mates car workin nothing wrong with that when he has payed for somthing that does not work

Lets get some facts straight.....
YOUR ECU does not drive the rev counter properly.
You have informed me of this and as your ECU was "FREE" I offered to fix it
or replace it the next time I came up to the ZOO.
Your ecu was one of the early designs and as it was not actually stopping the car
from running I did not think it was too important as you did inform me that you
had bought a new rev counter to read directly of the coils.
Any way, The ZOO moved and also the complication off the recent holidays has not helped.
You purchased 2 ecu's from me last year approx 4-5 months ago.
A while ago, you said that one was fitted to a car and did not run and you thought
it may be a mapping problem. As I do NOT supply guaranteed maps and plus
I do not know the spec of the car in question I could not comment.
This is the FIRST time you have said to me that you feel it is an issue with the
ecu rather than a mapping problem.
Without actually seeing the car myself or mapping it myself or be informed off all
the facts how can I possibly resolve a problem you may have.
ECU's are complex products and require MUCH configuration and setting
up especially on tuned cars.
I do not always answer my phone as I am often away from it because it is
the only way I can get things done without interuption.
Everytime you have rung me and left an answer phone message, I have replied
but you have NOT left a message this year at all.
I do not sit all day on the net waiting for emails to appear so I can answer
them withing 10 seconds of them arriving.
I will do so when I am ready and have time to digest the contents.
I have only read your email tonight and as MOST people have finished
work for the day including ME I will reply when I am back in the office.
Recently on that bad thread that Rs_Gus started about me where everyone
layed into me, you publically stated that ZOO would no longer be asociated
with SECS. This was very damaging to me at the time.
I am continuously being slated by people who say one minute they
dont want to deal and the next they change their minds (E.G. Immy)
Yet after the put downs I am expected to carry on like nothing has happened or been said.

Simon...i have decided to try the S8 on an old engine...i took it off the 450bhp motor and put it back to L8/Collins/adjustable chip via moniter....if you dont want to give support thats fine...i just giving you the chance to atleast continue the good support to me......if what you told me is true in the PM then everything will be sorted and i can go back to recommending SECS...but not you personally!..LOL...Even you have to see that you are very bad to customers looking at all complaints off here...sit back look...and realise people are not jumping on a bandwagon....
